The hotel is next to Borobudur so it is the perfect place to see Borobudur and take sunrise tour.
The tranquility.Very lovely and relaxing place in the middle of nature.
Great location, friendly staff and free internet.
The rooms need better cleaning and upkeep. Bathrooms tiles and tub have mold.
-amazing location and helpful staff
-You pay for the privilege to have such a good location
The hotel's saving grace is its location. The lush greenery, a carefully manicured lawn and the magnificent Borobudur temple as a backdrop significantly lifts the image of the 3-star hotel. The good thing about this hotel is the direct access to Borobudur without having to wrestle your way through the street peddlers selling souvenirs along the main entrance to the temple.
The booking through Booked.net is in us dollar however the hotel converts everything into Rupiah. The exchange rate that they use outstrips the benefits that we got from booking with Booked.net.
Really close to Borobudur, hotel ground sort of like a garden,
This is the only hotel within the Borobudur compound. Therefore, we have the privilege to have unlimited visits to the temple throughout our stay.
Apart from the proximity to Borobudur, it's not worth staying there because the room really needs upgrading. Floor carpets are stained. The toilet keeps leaking throughout that we have to call in service twice. The restaurant food is bad although service is good. The only reason why you dine there is because it overlooks the Borobudur temple. Or if it's raining..
Location of Hotel is perfect
Interior inside room is too old
That they fit me in even though your reservation information didn't make it to them.
The warm friendly staff and the close proximity to Borobudur
Especially enjoyed the proximity to Borobudur temple, also the quiet and restful atmosphere after visiting the site and climbing all those stairs.
A swimming pool would be nice, but I understand that park regulations will not allow it.
The location of this hotel is unmatched; a short walk to Borobudur which is the purpose of most peoples stay! Being able to visit the temple as many times as you like during your stay a big plus and also allowing you to avoid the hordes! I recommend buying a discounted ticket at reception for Manohara guests & gain access to the temple at sunset and be almost alone! (Sunrise tends to be fairly busy). Hotel staff; reception, room and waiting staff were all very helpful & made the stay thoroughly enjoyable!
For the price I would expect a higher standard of room & amenities, however this is easily overlooked given the positives!
Location!!! Just hundreds meters away from Borobudur. Nice rooms too.
Shower facilities a bit outdated
it was afternoon after visit Borobudur, while relax in the room, through the glass door over the backyard i saw two elephants passing by. Both elephants stop by the riders, and we took pictures with them!
The location was amazing (right outside Borobudur), the environment (peaceful, quiet, relaxed) was bar none, the staff members were very friendly
